Actress Hallie Todd is especially well known to audiences for her role as Jo McGuire, Lizzie's mom on the hit series Lizzie McGuire and in The Lizzie McGuire Movie. ("Top Ten TV Moms" - CNN Entertainment)
In addition to acting in films and television series, she writes, produces and teaches. Her acting classes have gained national recognition and have been featured on ABC Primetime, in the Los Angeles Times and the New York Times Sunday Magazine.
Recently, Hallie and her husband/partner director Glenn Withrow, along with their daughter Ivy Withrow, wrote and produced the feature film, The Mooring. The suspense/thriller was released by Lionsgate Entertainment (2013). Ten of the twelve leading roles in the film were cast from students discovered in Hallie's classes and workshops around the country.
This summer, Hallie stars in the new American Girl movie, "Lea To The Rescue," based on the adventures of 2016 Girl of the Year, Lea Clark. Hallie is also preparing to produce and star in her company's next film, The Last Champion, a coming-of-age family sports drama.
